Veronica Davillier came to MEMS after leaving New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina. Veronica’s story is about a desire to change the direction of her life and the struggle of not knowing how. Many of the stories featured here are about how EMS complicated a person’s life, Veronica’s story is about how EMS and those she found here encouraged and help in her journey. Veronica is not the same woman you would have met 15 years ago, the direction she is now heading has forever transformed her as well as her family’s life for generations.
Hearing another’s story makes us see things from a new perspective. Gives us the reason we needed to believe in ourselves, others have done it, and so can we. Veronica will tell you, you can live a better life that you ever dreamed when you chose to listen to those who are speaking life into you.
